2026 was a season of unforgettable energy and elite play. We were thrilled to welcome major champions Mike Weir and Bryson DeChambeau, who left his mark with a spectacular new course-record 63 (-9).
Alongside these icons of the game, a dynamic roster of top golf creators and the talented field of the Mickelson Invitational brought their unique flair to our fairways, showcasing Silvertip to the world.
Two-time U.S. Open Champion visited the Bow Valley and challenged himself to beat Silvertip’s standing 64-course record on July 5, 2026.
The legendary 2003 Masters champion and the first Canadian man to win a major golf championship visited Silvertip on June 22, 2026.
Having a Canadian icon of Weir’s stature walk our fairways was a defining highlight of the year. As the trailblazer who put Canadian men’s golf on the major championship map, his presence brought an unmistakable energy to the property, validating Silvertip’s reputation as a world-class mountain golf destination.
From taking in the panoramic views across the Bow Valley to connecting with our guests and team, Weir brought the same quiet grace and passion that earned him his Green Jacket. Marking his visit in our season recap isn’t just about celebrating a brush with golf royalty; it captures a proud moment where Canadian golf history crossed paths with our own mountain landscape, leaving an indelible impression on everyone fortunate enough to share the day.
Achieving a hole-in-one at Silvertip Resort is no easy task. For our 2026 season, we are excited to spotlight the seven aces and the guests that made their mark.
Growing the game and fostering a welcoming, empowering community for female golfers is at the heart of the Silvertip experience. This season, we were incredibly proud to host a dynamic group of athletes and creators who are leading the charge and inspiring more women to tee it up.
Between breathtaking mountain drives to building a supportive community on and off the course, these standout players showcased the very best of women’s golf this year.
From casual drop-ins throughout the season to the marquee talent of the Mickelson Invitational Creator Roster, 2026 brought an exceptional lineup of storytellers to our fairways. Here are the creators who captured the Silvertip experience through their own lens this year.
When the biggest names in golf content creation descended on Alberta for this year’s Mickelson Invitational, the action didn’t stop at the tournament greens. Seeking out the ultimate Canadian mountain golf experience, contenders in the Mickelson Creator Divison took a breathtaking detour to Canmore to tee it up at Silvertip Resort.
Trading the competitive pressure of the Invitational for jaw-dropping alpine views, these contenders tackled dramatic, elevation-shifting design, capturing some of spectacular content against the stunning, rugged backdrop of the Rocky Mountains.
Former PGA Tour Canada competitor Mac Boucher has become one of golf’s most popular digital creators. Known globally as the “King of the Sling,” the Ontario native has built a following of millions with his physics-bending shot-making, 60-yard sweeping curves and relaxed, authentic approach to the game.
Ahead of competing in the Mickelson National Invitational, Boucher visited Silvertip Resort on July 1 for a high-elevation tune-up. Taking on our dramatic contours and Bow Valley vistas, he dialed in his lines and brought his signature slings to the Canadian Rockies before tournament week kicked off.
“Magnificent course, excellent greens. Tight fairways. Elevation is brilliant and adds to the dynamic. Breathtaking views. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Range is stunning. Food is perfect. And the snack bar on back 9 and the girl working were great. Superb 18 holes for brand new golfers of 6 weeks and 4 weeks. Loved it”
“Stunning, well-maintained, and wonderfully challenging. The staff were so friendly, the scenic cart rides between holes were incredible and we even spotted a wolf pup! We had an absolute blast and can’t wait to return.”
“We played Banff Springs and Kananaskis, but Silvertip was our favorite. Excellent course conditions, breathtaking views, and an engaging downhill layout on almost every hole that plays much faster than the yardage suggests. An easy first choice for our next trip.”
“Course is amazing. Blown away by the views and the serenity. A perfect late afternoon early evening round. Can’t wait to come back”
You’ve seen the best moments of the year, now it’s time to create yours. The clock is ticking and golf season ends soon.
