Women in Golf
The Future of Golf Is Female
Women are the primary catalyst driving the modern growth of golf. By 2025, the female on-course population reached a record 8.1 million players, accounting for 52% of all new participation gains.
Despite this booming community, outdated stereotypes and institutional gatekeeping still linger in traditional golf culture.
At Silvertip Resort, we believe it is time to dismantle these old barriers once and for all. We believe the game should be fueled by camaraderie, genuine connection, and the freedom to play entirely on your own terms.

The 13 Visionaries Who Built Women's Professional Golf
In 1950, thirteen fearless female golfers came together to charter the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA). Operating with virtually no budget, they acted as tournament directors, greenkeepers, rules officials, and players all at once; establishing the oldest continuously operating women’s professional sports organization in the world.
