The Rebirth of Rustica at Silvertip Resort
If you haven’t yet heard – Rustica endured a very drastic make-over. Moving away from the table clothes, jazz music and fancy dress code, Rustica now resembles a ‘Canmore Casual’ type of attitude. Silvertip Management made the decision to take a step back from the fancy steakhouse-style menu, and offer its customers the food they enjoy in a more casual setting. With a chic and trendy new look, revamped menu and a patio that stretches across the length of the entire clubhouse, how can you not have the eagerness to come check it out?
Rustica is still offering it’s mouth-watering, award winning steaks, as well as other options such as burgers, salads, fish tacos etc. It is a place for anyone and everyone to find something on the menu that catches their eye and satisfies their bellies.

WHAT IS NEW?
Rustica has updated all the furniture, plate-ware, decor, fireplace and has managed to create an atmosphere even better than before. The goal is to be a great local hangout spot with AMAZING food and drinks, service and atmosphere. Rustica is no longer the place you choose for that special event dining option or occasion, it’s an everyday and every occasion experience. Escape the craziness of Downtown Canmore and be utterly amazed by the dining experience and location after a round of golf or to take your friends who are visiting the mountains.

The Rustica full summer menu will come out on May 16, and it will be offering not only our signature prime beef steaks, but also fun lighter fare. “We’re looking forward to offering some heartier salads and flatbreads, so you can expect more great variety.”- Laura Hansford (Executive Chef at Silvertip).
What makes Rustica at Silvertip Resort Unique?
Rustica has an incredible patio that looks over the beautifully manicured golf course, and it’s often the perfect place for sighting elk, deer, and bears. The Rustica experience is varied, you can come to eat a delicious house-made burger and enjoy a beer on our patio, or join us for a three-course dinner menu with prawns, steak, and wine. We aim to provide a diverse enough menu that everyone can find something that really appeals to them, and we’re proud to use local ingredients whenever possible.
What are Rustica’s most popular dishes?
For lunch, Rustica’s most popular items are the prime beef burger, beef dip, and signature fish tacos. For dinner, the prime beef 5oz tenderloin is a must! Laura Hansford’s favourite things to cook are the signature steaks: Rustica uses 100% Canadian Prime, which represents the top 0.3% of beef in Canada, and is renowned for its outstanding flavor and tenderness. A 1500-degree broiler grill is used to cook the prime beef to perfection.

Canmore Uncorked is a multiple award-winning food festival located in Canmore, Alberta. Each Spring, many amazing local Canmore restaurants participate in the Canmore Uncorked food festival, creating remarkable menu’s specific to the Uncorked festival. Locals and visitors alike are able to choose the dining experience they desire by researching online at www.canmoreuncorked.com. Choose between the multiple events hosted by Canmore Uncorked or set-price menu for a three-course meal for either $25, $37, or $49. During the festival, many local businesses also feature special set-price experiences for $0, $6 or $12. This year Rustica is offering a 3-course meal for $49 and a daily $12 lunch special.
